I have a major announcement 📣 and I wanted you to be the first to hear it!

Drumroll please…

On April 1st I’m launching my new podcast! (No, this is not an April Fool’s joke)! It’s called The Wholistic Productivity Podcast—super original, I know—and it’s all about sharing with others what I’ve learned on my productivity journey.

Right now, you can check out the show trailer on your favorite podcast platform or watch it on YouTube.

I’ve been excited about this for a long time and after a lot of planning and preparation, it’s crazy to be so close to the launch date. I keep having to pinch myself!

I’ll be honest—I struggle with perfectionism. I come from a media background, and I am a producer at heart. With anything like this, I have a vision for something with high production value. I want the fancy podcast studio with all the lighting and gear. I want professionally produced segments with the right audio bed.

If I allowed myself to focus on the production elements, I’d spend weeks or months doing everything BUT recording a podcast. I’d be so focused on trying to make it perfect that I wouldn’t make it at all.

I’m not trying to make excuses for the podcast or keep expectations low. Episode 1 is “in the can,” as they say, and I’m really happy with it.

But this is a reminder for us all that starting is the most important thing. Whatever that thing is you’re trying to accomplish, just start doing it! Don’t be afraid if it’s not perfect. You can grow and improve along the way, but you have to start somewhere. Don’t wait for the perfect scenario to start.

Even though we don’t officially launch until April 1, please subscribe now on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, iHeart, Amazon Music, and YouTube Podcasts. And check out the show page at wholisticproductivitypodcast.com. You can also watch each episode on my YouTube Channel. There will be some bonus episodes coming out before April 1st as well (I promise you; this isn’t a joke)!

This is the first of several big announcements I’ll be dropping in the next few weeks, so be sure to stay tuned.

How to Stay Committed to Your Goals (Even When Conditions Aren’t Ideal)

Last week, I officially began my training routine for my first half marathon in May—and in the process, I was reminded how hard it can be to stay committed to your goals when conditions aren’t ideal. And if I’m honest, the timing felt borderline rude. The very first...

The Importance of Systems (and How One Missing USB Charger Proved It)

I’ve come to understand something important about how I’m wired: I’m a systems person. I love building systems that help me show up consistently and perform at a high level. I’d rather invest time upfront to create a system I can use over and over than rely on...

Are you using goal journey design to set and achieve your goals? If that term is new to you, let me introduce the concept. Goal journey design is the difference between hoping your goals work out and intentionally shaping the experience required to achieve them. It’s...
